Short Biography
Andrew Albert Christian Edward was born on 19th February 1960 to Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh. He served in the Royal navy and took part in the Falklands War. He married Sarah Margaret Ferguson in 1986 and they had two daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie. Andrew was created Duke of York when he married. The marriage broke down and the couple divorced in 1996. Andrew worked as Trade Ambassador for Britain for 10 years. In 2019 he suspended all public duties after facing criticism for his friendship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
