Short Biography
Godgifu of Boulogne was born in 1004, the daughter of King Aethelred the Unready by his second wife, Emma of Normandy. Godgifu went to Normandy with her family in 1014 after her father was deposed as King by Sweyn Forkbeard.
She married firstly Drogo of Mantes, around 1024, and they had three children. Drogo died in 1035 and Godgifu then married Eustace of Boulogne. She died in 1047 (exact dates are not known).
