Short Biography

King Malcolm IV was born to Henry of Scotland and Ada de Warenne in April or May 1114. When his father died in 1152 he became heir to the throne. He succeeded as King in 1153 following the death of his grandfather, David I.

Malcolm did not marry and had no children. When he died in 1165, his brother William the Lion succeeded to the throne of Scotland.
