Short Biography
Sigen Styrsdottir was the daughter of Styr Ulfson of York, who was likely descended from the Danish Vikings. She is known to history as the second wife of Uhtred of Northumbria known as Uhtred the Bold who she married around 1004. They had two children before they separated, around 1006. Further details of her life are not known.
