Wulfnoth Godwinson 1040 – 1094

Wulfnoth was born in 1040 and died in 1094 (exact dates not known). He was the sixth son of Earl Godwin of Wessex and the brother of King Harold II. He was taken to Normandy as a hostage in the late 1050s. William of Normandy promised to release him after Harold had supported his claim to be King. William did not release him and Wulfnoth remained in captivity for the rest of his life.
