Gunhilda Godwinsdottir d. 1087

Gunhilda died in 1087. She was the fourth daughter of Earl Godwin of Wessex and the sister of King Harold II. After the Battle of Hastings it is believed that she fled to the continent. She  became a nun, either in St Omer or Bruges.
